What a man!

Samuel takes his breakfast to work every morning which requires that he have a cup with a lid to keep from spilling in the car. This morning, there were only clean sippy cups available. They gave him a hard time about it at work and got quite a few laughs at his expense, but I say, "what a man!"

Passing it on...

Tonight in bed, Jason threw his arms around me and said, with a smile, "I am going to squeeze you 'til you toot!" I laughed, played along and said it back to him. I was reminded of the many times I played this little game with my Daddy, and the pleasure of passing it on made the evening.

Big Girl Bed

Colleen graduated to her Big Girl Bed this week and has done a great job. It is funny how something so simple can seem like such a milestone. Our "baby girl" has quickly become our "big girl".

Nothing entertains like water!

Jessica, Jon Langley, Shea, and Josiah came down for a visit to meet Caleb and just spend time with the family. One afternoon was perfect weather for the little ones to play in the blow up pool, but an accidental step onto the pool cover by Jon Langley quickly led to much more water fun!
No hesitation from the big boy, he's all in!

Everyone dressed in PJ's and eating dinner. What a day...thanks Papa Ron and Nonna.

Happy Easter 2010

I cannot recall ever missing church on Easter Sunday, however circumstances found us in the NICU with Caleb this year, so Jason and Colleen joined Papa Ron and Nonna at Hebron. Nonna had them dressed and looking their best for the day. They even met up with the Warbingtons for some family photos.
Praise the Lord...He is risen indeed!
Possibly a little too much love here!

Welcome Caleb Brent

Our Caleb is finally home after many days of waiting and praying for his safe arrival then release from the hospital. And he was certainly worth the wait! Arriving two days late, he was born on 3-31-2010 weighing in at 9lb 5oz. Some excess birth fluid in his lungs and slow-to-close heart valves kept him in the NICU for four days, but after much prayer he came home to us perfectly healthy on April 6. To God be all the glory for another son.

Jason's First Time at the Dentist

Jason had his first appointment with the Dentist this morning and handled things like a pro! He was a little hesitant for a few moments and then warmed up to the idea after he was told that a new toothbrush and toothpaste were part of the deal. He was so proud of himself and wanted to nap with his new toothbrush this afternoon. Wow...what a boy!
A first look with the mirror. He kept a watchful eye on the hygienist! The electric toothbrush and bubble gum toothpasteMeeting "Mr. Thirsty" Letting "Mr. Thirsty" suck out the water all by himself
