Visitors from Buford!

Papa Ron and Nonna came all the way from Buford to see us one night and we loved it! Daddy read books to Jason and Colleen and did the usual "busting" followed by laughter and cries for more. Momma, in her special way was able to love on everyone, play dolls, and be my Momma all at the same time. How nice!

Lucky Luke

Grandmama recently gave us some old cartoons that Samuel used to watch as a little boy. His very favorite was "Lucky Luke", a western cartoon narrated by Jimmy Stewart. And like-Father-like-Son, Jason loved it. Here he is playing his own version of Lucky Luke!

Pumpkin Carving

Some friends from church invited us to a pumpkin carving party. There were treats, a bonfire, and blankets, buckets, and carving tools for each family. We had a great time carving our Tron pumpkin. As much as we all love the movie we couldn't resist! Jason, Colleen, and Caleb decorated their own smaller pumpkins then rolled in the grass, ate marshmallows by the fire, and worked up the nerve to get close to the scary mechanical man!

Little Ballerina

Colleen has a wonderful friend, Kady Jo, who invited her to ballet class for "friend day". What a treat! Colleen was beside herself all week long and when the day finally arrived, we made sure she was dressed to the nines (ballet style that is). Neither of these is a great picture of her. I was not allowed in the class with her, but by all accounts, she did wonderfully and had a great time. Her time will come to be in a class of her own but for now this was a day to enjoy and remember! Colleen, you came home and showed me every move you learned and pointed your toes perfectly. I love your femininity and grace.
