A friend of ours is known for excusing fun and treats at any given moment by saying "It's a free day!" Well, the summertime here is full of free days and there are no complaints!

Can We Build It?
Yes, we can! Samuel took Jason and Colleen to the Lowe's children's building workshop one Saturday morning for some quality time together. They loved it! Free goggles, an apron, hammers, and a boat were just added perks to a great time with Daddy.
Happy Father's Day
We were driving home from Disney World on Father's Day this year so we had Samuel's official celebration Monday night. Jason, Colleen, and Caleb each contributed to the signing of the card and made special pictures for Daddy. They waited all day for him to get home and really showered him with love and wishes for a "Happy Father's Day, Daddy." A "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirt said it all!
From Baby to Boy
After several comments about Caleb's shaggy hair, we decided to bite the bullet and give him that first haircut. You know, the one that changes your baby into a boy...the one you put off for as long as possible. We saved the first lock but the rest are gone for good!
